Brendon Barnes: founder, contributing writer
I am a long-time open wheel racing fan. My passion for the sport started when I was a child watching the cars circle the course, my passion grew as I became old enough to understand the sport and has culminated into me being a part of the sport. Open wheel racing IS my passion. I currently hold a Bachelors of Science degree, cum laude (honors), in criminal justice from American InterContinental University in South Florida. When I am not blogging or at the track, you can find me driving or spectating at the local auto-x or track day.

I am currently a Sports Communication major at Marist College scheduled to graduate in 2010. I have been a sports fan all of my life and enjoy watching and following a variety of sports. I love IndyCar racing because there is no other sport like it. When I am not in class or writing for IRLblog.com, I am on the air at Marist College Radio.
