What’s on this year’s Christmas List for the IRL?
I think we all agree across the board that a title sponsor is definitely on this year’s wish list. I would imagine that more cost cutting would be up there with a title sponsor. Dallara has already cut costs and the transition teams suggested the use of a carbon clutch which is more expensive but will save the teams money in the long run. A month of May with no rain(Carb say was a wash in 2008) would be at the bottom of the list. One of the fan favorites Sarah Fisher back behind the wheel for the entire season. I hate to say it but Paul Tracy back in a car. That will help bring over more Champ Car fans.(Believe me when I say that we still have a bunch of disgruntled ones out there.) Rides for drivers such as Ryan-Hunter Reay and Justin Wilson amongst others is on there as well. Those things are a start but there sure is more.
