Wheldon arrives at HMS
Good morning from Homestead Miami Speedway. Everyone was able to sleep in this morning since the cars do not need to be on track until 2:30 for another Versus network promotional shoot. It’s another sunny and warm day at the track and is expected to stay that way for the rest of the afternoon and into the evening. Drivers are scurrying around attending photo shoots for various media outlets while
teams are fast at work in the garages prepping the cars for the on track video shoot for Versus. The video shoot is scheduled to wrap up around 3 giving the teams 1 hour to get everything ready before the start of the test session at 4 p.m. Dan Wheldon arrived today after doing some promos for the National Guard yesterday. This should bring our car count to 22 for this evenings open test session. Keep checking back during the course of the day for updates from Homestead Miami Speedway.<-->

Im not much of a fan of Marco’s paint scheme. Its overdone and boring at the same time, but at least theres asponsor on it. Im not sure what to expect of Wheldon with Panther. A driver whos game slipped a bit last year, with a team who hasn’t won since Hornish. Is this what both need or will both keep fading?

I was under the impression that AGR had trouble with finding sponsorship for Marco. When the AGR haulers loaded in, it was the only one that had no sponsor graphics on it. It was just all black. Regarding the car color scheme itself. I think we have quite a few red and even red white and blued cars on the track. As far as Panther Racing. I expect to see them pick it up towards the middle of the season with Wheldon in the cockpit. I know he would like really like to win St. Pete since it is his hometown.
